Pieces created by two Penn State Abington art faculty are debuting in exhibitions in Philadelphia this fall, one at the Philadelphia International Airport and the other at the National Liberty Museum in Old City.
The Penn State Abington Office of Development and Alumni Relations has announced the winners of its annual alumni awards, which recognize the service, accomplishments, and philanthropic investments of Abington alumni and friends for enriching the campus and student experience.
Fourteen Penn State alumni will receive the Alumni Fellow Award, the most prestigious award given by the Penn State Alumni Association, during a ceremony Sept. 28 at the State Theatre in downtown State College. This year’s award ceremony will be livestreamed for remote viewing.

Penn State Abington held a special event celebrating its donors, faculty, staff and students for exceeding its campus goal in the University-wide campaign, “A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence.” Officials announced that Abington achieved a record-breaking six-year total of more than $27.5 million during the campaign, propelled by the broad support of 3,300 gifts from nearly 2,000 alumni, friends, foundations and corporate partners.
