Embedded Programs Facilitated by Penn State Abington

Embedded programs provide immersive and diverse cultural experiences through short-term travel outside the United States.

  • Each course features a credit-bearing international travel component, which is included in the total number of credit hours you register for during the semester the course is scheduled.
  • Courses are taught by Abington faculty who accompany students abroad.
  • The international travel component is typically between five and eight days, often during the fall, spring, or summer breaks.
