Scholarships For Continuing Students

Penn State Abington Endowed Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Full-time or part-time Penn State Abington student in 2025-2026 pursuing first bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (Recommended)
  • Completed 2025-26 FAFSA (Recommended)

Scholarship Amount: $500 - $4,000

Abington Township Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Resident of Abington Township for a minimum of one year prior to application
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at least half-time (6 credits per semester)
  • 2.5 minimum high school GPA for incoming students or 2.5 minimum college GPA for transfer or current students
  • Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need as indicated on the FAFSA

Scholarship Amount: $5,000

Abington Township Scholarship Application

Abington Senior High School Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Resident in the Abington School District for a minimum of one year prior to application
  • Graduate or pending graduate of Abington Senior High School
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at least half-time (6 credits per semester)
  • Demonstrated financial need as indicated on the FAFSA
  • Good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher

$5,000 scholarships available. Application required.

Abington Senior High School Scholarship Application 

Adult Learner Scholarship

Scholarships are available for undergraduate students enrolled in a Penn State degree program and taking classes full-time or part-time (at least 6 credits per semester). 

You must also meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Age 24 or older
  • Active-duty military or veteran
  • Have a spouse and/or dependents

Additional considerations:

  • These scholarships are available to first-time and returning adult learners. In addition to this scholarship application, you must submit the 2025–26 FAFSA if you are a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.
  • Complete the 2025-26 Scholarship Application
  • Cumulative GPA 2.5 or higher
  • 60 or more completed credits
  • Penn State World Campus students are not eligible for these scholarships. Learn more about scholarship opportunities for World Campus students.
  • Employees receiving the educational benefit are not eligible to receive these scholarships.

The deadline to apply is 5:00 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, July 31, 2025

Complete Penn State Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:
  • two or fewer semesters to complete first bachelor's degree requirements and 30 or fewer credits remaining
  • cumulative minimum 2.0 GPA
  • an unexpected hardship that is complicating degree completion
  • exhausted all sources of federal and state aid

Summer Success Scholarship

The Summer Success Scholarship helps students who have fallen behind in their degree program and would benefit from taking a summer course to get caught up, but have financial challenges to doing so. The scholarship is available to students at all Penn State campuses. Students who receive the scholarship will receive $2,000 toward their summer tuition. Eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Enrolled in at least one summer course at any Penn State campus
  • Demonstrate that taking a summer course is necessary to get back on track for your degree program
  • Demonstrated financial need

2025-2026 Germer-Taub Business Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Full-time or part-time enrollment at Abington in one of the following majors: Business, Finance, Accounting, Project and Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum of 60 completed credits as of June 2025
  • 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Financial need as demonstrated on FAFSA
  • Participate in an approved internship before graduation
  • Must be accepted to an embedded faculty-led program or semester-long study abroad program

For Semester-long awards, awards will range between $2,000 and $5,000 per student, and for embedded trips, between $500 and $800.
