Take your learning beyond the classroom

Every Penn State Abington student deserves the chance to explore beyond the classroom, so we offer courses that feature short-term travel during semester breaks, making life-changing domestic and international experiences more affordable and accessible.

Courses with short-term travel give you the chance to immerse yourself in new cultures, connect with communities, and see the world—and yourself—in a whole new way.

  • Courses feature a credit-bearing travel component.
  • Taught by Abington faculty who travel with students
  • Travel is typically between five and eight days during the fall, spring, or summer breaks.
  • Scholarships and financial aid are available.

Upcoming Courses: Spring 2026 Poland, and Spring 2026 Costa Rica.
