Abington planning information sessions on adult-learning opportunities

The Penn State Abington Office of Continuing Education will host information sessions for nurses who want to earn bachelor of science degrees as well as other adult learners seeking to upgrade their skills in a competitive job market.

If you are preparing for a career in Web-based writing, software development, business, or public relations, learn how a credit certificate in Technical and Business Writing can help achieve your goals. Faculty members will be available to discuss the program from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (Nov 28), in the Lares Building.

On Thursday (Nov. 29), nurses interested in pursuing their bachelor’s degree are invited to learn more about the Nursing (registered nurse or bachelor of science) degree program at Abington. The session will take place at from 5:30 to 6 p.m., at Penn State Abington @611.

What is project management and how could it help my career? Gary Somma, project management professional and instructor in the Project Management Certificate program, will answer these questions and more at an open house from 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 13, at Penn State Abington @611.
