Penn State Abington Continuing Education offers new webinar option

A new webinar option makes earning continuing professional and legal education credits at Penn State Abington even more convenient and flexible.

According to Theresa Bloom, an Abington continuing education program manager, the webinars will be offered twice this fall, and there are plans to expand the format in the future. “Professionals often find it difficult to fit continuing education into their busy schedules due to time, location or family issues. The webinars offer the freedom to choose a format that works for them,” Bloom said.

The first Webinar, “What Works on Wall Street,” is scheduled for Oct. 29. It focuses on utilizing the tools favored by well-known financial institutions to build a successful portfolio. “Understanding the Intricacies of Income Tax Basis,” the second webinar, will be offered on Nov. 12 for certified public accountants, accountants, attorneys and certified financial planners.

The webinars will be simulcast from Penn State Abington @611, a conferencing facility that boasts state-of-the art teleconferencing and presentation technology.
