As part of Penn State’s continued commitment to student access and affordability, Housing and Food Services, a University auxiliary service, is piloting a LiveOn Student Success Grant to support need-based students residing on campuses across the commonwealth for the 2021-22 academic year.
The winning writers of Penn State University Libraries Short Stories’ “A Night at the Circus” spring 2021 contest have been announced. Representing five Penn State campuses, the latest writing contest encouraged students, faculty and staff across the commonwealth to submit their best circus-themed creative writing in the form of short stories or poetry.
Penn State Abington senior Ariel Hooks is a Schreyer Honors College scholar and, on May 7, will graduate a year early with dual degrees in English and history.
Brandywine’s annual social justice fair focused on the theme of “Mass Incarceration and Racial Justice.” The weeklong series of events was hosted by Brandywine’s Center for Ethics and Civic Engagement, in partnership with Penn State Abington Student Engagement and Leadership and Penn State World Campus Student Affairs.
Penn State Abington students presented 26 projects at the annual research fair. Three of them also earned honors at the Penn State Eastern Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium 2021.
Students involved in undergraduate research projects at Penn State Scranton and other regional University campuses and local universities had a chance to present their research projects during two annual academic events this month, both of which were held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
