Penn State Abington students have the opportunity to become among the first college students to study in Cuba through a summer research practicum focusing on Cuban conservation efforts and environmental policies.
Pradip Bandyopadhyay, division head of science at Penn State Berks, is working to help a future generation of engineering students to succeed. In 2015, he was invited to collaborate on a proposal titled “Sustainable Bridges from Campus to Campus: Retention Models for Transitioning Engineering Students.”
The Penn State Abington community focused on supporting individuals following the live-streamed National Teach-In on the executive order banning Muslims, immigrants, and refugees.
A contingent of students from the University of Gyeongnam Geochang in South Korea will call Penn State Abington home from Jan. 14 through Feb. 13. During their visit, the students will engage in intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) training and immerse themselves in American culture.
