Israeli thriller kicks off Abington spring film series

Tired of predictable plots and unruly crowds in the local movie theaters? Head over to Penn State Abington this weekend for a film screening highlighted by a lively discussion among the audience and the expert moderator.

"The Attack" is described by moderator Moylan C. Mills, professor emeritus of integrative arts, as a thinking man's thriller. The film relates the story of an Arab surgeon living in Tel Aviv who discovers a dark secret about his wife after she perishes in a suicide bombing.

The film, part of the Friday Night Film Series, begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, in 112 Woodland Building. Admission is $10 at the door.

The Friday Night Film Series is presented by Penn State Abington Cultural and Community Events. The spring events series is sponsored by Susquehanna Bank.
