Penn State, regional colleges gathered to work on strategic equity goals

The 2022 Summer Institute for Equity in the Academic Experience held in June saw 16 teams across Penn State colleges and campuses, as well as seven teams from regional colleges and universities, gather in person at Penn State Harrisburg and virtually to focus on expanding access and advancing academic equity at their institutions.

Abington announces new major in health humanities

The new degree program in health humanities at Penn State Abington will prepare students for careers in healthcare or in a field with health-related components, as well as to earn advanced degrees in medicine, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, among others.

College of Engineering summer student marshal named

Xiao Zhuang has been named the summer 2022 student marshal for the Penn State College of Engineering. He will receive his bachelor of science in computer science with a minor in mathematics at the University’s commencement ceremony, which will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 13 in the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park.
