Donate to the Career Closet
The professional attire is donated by alumni, staff, and community members who believe in the value of students having access to quality professional attire that will be beneficial to their job-search. If you are interested in donating gently used business attire, please email [email protected] or call (215) 881-7529, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m, MON - FRI.
- Clothing that has not been washed or dry cleaned: We aim to provide a clean and sanitary environment and experience for our browsers
- Worn-out or Damaged Clothing: We aim to provide high-quality, professional attire, so please ensure that all items are in like-new condition.
- Casual or Non-Professional Attire: We appreciate your support, but because of our limited space, we are looking for professional attire only at this time.
- Outdated Fashion: Styles change over time, and we strive to provide modern clothing options. Please refrain from donating outdated pieces.
- Stained or Soiled Items: Ensure that all clothing is clean and free from stains, odors, holes, or visible wear and tear.
- Shoes in Poor Condition: Donate only gently worn, clean, and professional shoes. No heavily scuffed or damaged footwear, please.
- Non-Work-Appropriate Items: Please avoid donating items that are too revealing, flashy, or not suitable for a professional work environment.
- Undergarments: We cannot accept underwear or worn socks. Please consider donating these items to a local shelter or organization.
- Children's or Infants' Clothing: Our focus is on adult professional attire.
