Second annual 'Oscars at Abington' set for Feb. 24

Penn State Professor Emeritus of Integrated Arts Moylan C. Mills will lead a lively discussion about this year's Oscar nominees, interspersed with film clips, during the second annual Oscars at Abington. The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, in Room 112 of the Woodland Building on Abington campus.

After refreshments, participants will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite nominees using iClicker technology. Voting results will be available in just moments, and members of the crowd will be able to compare their Oscars at Abington results with the outcome of the real thing two days later.

Admission to the event is $15 for the general public and free to full-time students and Abington faculty and staff. Free parking is available next to the Woodland Building. Tickets will be available at the door, but pre-registration is appreciated. To pre-register, go to www.abington.psu.edu/oscars.
