Philadelphia / Suburbs to Penn State Abington

Use the SEPTA Trip Planner to determine the best travel options to campus.  The two available SEPTA routes close to campus are:
  • West Trenton Line (Regional Rail/ Rydal Train Station)
  • SEPTA Route 55 Bus

Septa Bus 55 - Willow Grove & Doylestown to Olney Transportation Center.
Get off the Route 55 Septa Bus at our Lions Gate Residence Hall at 1001 Old York Road in Abington and grab the shuttle to campus or take the Septa Route 55 bus directly to Woodland Road and walk the few blocks down to campus.

Septa Regional West Trenton Line – the most convenient rail line to campus from Center City Philadelphia or the suburbs to the Rydal train station.
When you get off the train at the Rydal Train Station, the Penn State Shuttle will be there to transport you directly to campus.

Septa Regional Rail Airport Line - between Center City & Philadelphia International Airport; then take the West Trenton Line schedule to get to Penn State Abington

Septa Regional Lansdale/Doylestown Line - from Center City Philadelphia, then take the West Trenton Line schedule to get to Penn State Abington

Septa Regional Trenton Line  – rail transportation between Philadelphia & Trenton, NJ with a transfer onto the NJ Transit to New York City (NJ Transit to NYC schedule is included); then take the West Trenton Line schedule to get to Penn State Abington.
