Music video superstar Todrick Hall performed a high energy concert/theater/pep talk at Penn State Abington for National Coming Out Week. His message: Ignore the gatekeepers and the naysayers and connect directly with people.
The Venerable Losang Samten, a Tibetan Buddhist monk and scholar, created a medicine sand mandala at Penn State Abington during a weeklong residency. Each component of the mandala is rich in symbolism, from the colors to the images. He also lectured and meditated with the campus community.
Eighty local students in grades seven through 12 spent their Saturday in Penn State’s recently constructed engineering suite, located at Penn State Great Valley in Malvern. The suite serves as a hub for the University’s regional undergraduate engineering program between Penn State Brandywine, Abington and Great Valley.
