The Rev. Dr. Lorina Marshall-Blake, president of the Independence Blue Cross Foundation and vice president of community affairs of Independence Blue Cross, will serve as the keynote speaker at the Penn State Abington Summer/Fall Commencement on Dec. 14. Marshall-Blake oversees grantmaking for the $73 million foundation.
In 2016, Marshall-Blake was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing as an honorary fellow and received an appointment to the National Advisory Council on Nursing Education and Practice in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
