Fall 2020 Coronavirus Update
Tutoring will be available both on-line and in person. The office for The Center for Student Achievement will be open for students Tuesdays through Thursdays. Tutoring will begin September 7 unless otherwise requested by a student. If you would like to request tutoring between August 24 and September 4, please email [email protected].
For in-person and on-line tutoring, please send any screen shots, papers or other materials you are requesting help with, in advance of your appointment. Please send it to: [email protected], along with your name, your tutor's name, and the date of your appointment.
All writing consultations will be conducted online. You can schedule an appointment with a writing consultant to discuss any part of the writing process or use our Online Writing Lab (coming soon) to deposit a paper for a forth coming appointment.
Meet with one of our tutors for help in a specific subject. We can help you understand content that seems challenging, review for quizzes and exams, and review assignments, quizzes, exams, and projects that you have already submitted. We cannot help you complete homework assignments, but we can help you work on similar problems or concepts.
We can help you with any stage of the writing process from deciding on a topic to proofreading a "finished" paper for purposes of reaching clarity. A writing consultation is very much a conversation between you and your consultant. We will ask you to communicate the ideas you wish to convey and will help you determine if the paper you are writing adequately addresses the assignment.

Would you like to strengthen your academic abilities or set achievable goals for the semester? Meet with one of our Study Skills Specialists for help with time-management, study skills, organizational techniques, reading comprehension, goal-setting, note-taking, and test-taking techniques.
