I am a senior majoring in Corporate Communication. I will be graduating from Abington in the Fall of 2022. My goal is to be a sports broadcaster.
I enjoy playing video games and watching sports. I also love helping people and inspiring others to be and do their best!
My advice is to talk to as many people as possible! Networking is huge for increasing future career opportunities while also increasing the chance of making new, lifelong friends.
I am a sophomore and majoring in Biology: Genetics and Development. I will be staying at Penn State Abington until graduation.
My goal is to attend medical school after graduation and become a doctor. One thing I do to keep myself motivated in my classes is I remind myself of my goal.
Reminding myself of the reason why I am in college allows me to organize and prioritize things that I need to do.
I suggest everyone try to make a goal for why you are in college. It will make the journey easier.
I am a creative person and I like to express my creativity through digital art, Photoshop, and photography.
My advice is to pursue your goals; pick a major that you love and can see yourself working with in the future. Always follow your passions, set goals, and pursue them to the best of your ability!
Some of my hobbies are traveling around the world, hiking in the greatest mountains, and playing soccer with my friends.
The advice I give to fellow students is simply don't be afraid to ask for help and talk to your professors.
It's a great way to build connections.
I enjoy working with kids, reading, writing, all forms of community involvement, board games, taking long walks, and playing with dogs.
There are multiple resources at Penn State Abington geared towards building a well-rounded student, these resources include: the Learning Center, student-run organizations, opportunities to get involved, professors, fellow students, advisors, and the advising center.
College is the time to explore so my advice is to use them all!
