How a Penn Stater Registers for Summer
Check out the summer schedule on LionPATH and you can also check it out here
If there is a particular course you are interested in and you don't see it on the schedule, please check back, we will keep adding new courses to the schedule as they are confirmed. This is especially true for math and science courses where we may even open additional sections of some courses as they fill.
If you need financial aid, speak with the financial aid office at your campus to see if any aid can be applied to your summer tuition. You will receive a bill to your eLion account.
If you are an Abington Student seeking financial aid information:
Students planning to enroll in summer courses are strongly encouraged to meet with a financial aid counselor if they intend to use financial aid or need assistance with financing options. Each year, we see students register for summer courses without a clear understanding of how summer billing and aid work.
- Summer is part of the 2025–26 academic year/FAFSA
- Students receive one summer bill regardless of session (Maymester, Summer I, Summer II, or any combination)
- Tuition is billed per credit for students enrolled in fewer than 12 credits
- Tuition estimates are available at tuition.psu.edu
- Summer bills will be available in LionPath after May 1, with a May 22 due date
- The summer installment payment plan includes due dates of May 22, June 22, and July 22
- Summer financial aid summaries will be available in LionPath beginning in April
