Cross country

The U.S.Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association named the Abington men's program to the NCAA Division III All-Academic Team. This is the second consecutive year the Abington men earned the honor with a team grade-point average of at least 3.1.

The organization recognized runner Alex Kane, a business major, with a place on the DIII men's all-academic individual list. An athlete must maintain a 3.3 GPA and finish in the top 25 percent at the regional championships to make the list.

The coaches association announced that the Abington women's program earned their first all-academic team award.
