Abington golf team tops cross-town rival

ABINGTON, Pa. — The Penn State Abington golf team faced off against cross-town rival Bryn Athyn College and earned the top three spots with a 422-508 win.

Abington's Shane Nocito took the top spot with a score of 74, while Richard Yang and Luke Fisher tied for second place, both scoring 80 strokes. Christian Jabbar and Matt Nothdurft tied for sixth place with 94 strokes each.

The college's soccer, tennis and volleyball teams also were in action last week. Here is Penn State Abington's athletics scoreboard for the week beginning Oct. 19:
