The Help Desks located on the second floor of the Academic building, in Sutherland 218, and in the second floor atrium of Woodland are available to assist the Penn State Abington community with a wide range of technology-related questions. We can provide support with:
- PSU Wi-Fi for mobile devices, tablets, and laptops
- PSU software, including Canvas and LionPath
- General software applications such as Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.), Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Zoom, and Kaltura
- Printing and scanning through PawPrints kiosks
- Resetting or changing PSU passwords
- Classroom technology, including lectern computers, projectors, document cameras, and related equipment
- Equipment or software concerns in campus computer labs
- Additional technology support needs
The Help Desk team is supported by OIT Staff for issues that require additional assistance.

Our Help Desks are staffed by current Penn State Abington students. If you have a passion for customer service and an interest in technology (IT or STEM major is not required), when there are openings for additional team members the position (Part Time IT User Support) is posted on the Penn State job site under Penn State Student. You must have a current resume along with basic computer and customer service skills.
