Aisha Boursiquot, Katherine Grinberg, and Michael Bluestein help construct a temporary sukkah by the pond at Penn State Abington. Members of Hillel, the campus Jewish student organization, along with Rabbi Ben Davis pitched in to erect the structure to recognize the weeklong celebration of Sukkot.
Five Penn State campuses have been awarded PepsiCo Challenge Mini Grants to expand community engagement efforts through Penn State’s Sustainable Communities Collaborative (SCC). Penn State Abington, Altoona, Beaver, Behrend and Brandywine will take part in a three-year pilot program to expand the SCC to Penn State communities outside of University Park.
