Trans youth certain of desired care, Abington student researcher finds

Penn State Abington senior Angelea Francesco presented her research on Pennsylvania adolescents with gender dysphoria at the World Professional Association for Transgender Health scientific symposium, where she shared her findings that transgender youth describe their gender in various ways but have a clear idea of who they are and are certain of the medical care they want.

Penn State Abington has 27 million reasons to be grateful for donor support

Penn State Abington held a special event celebrating its donors, faculty, staff and students for exceeding its campus goal in the University-wide campaign, “A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence.” Officials announced that Abington achieved a record-breaking six-year total of more than $27.5 million during the campaign, propelled by the broad support of 3,300 gifts from nearly 2,000 alumni, friends, foundations and corporate partners.
