Welcome to Residence Life at Penn State Abington. Our mission is to provide an experience that is conducive to academic success and personal growth. The Lions Gate Student Apartment Community includes professional and student staff members who live and work within the building. These staff members work together not only to ensure continuity of care and access to resources 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but they also place a priority on the development of opportunities that foster civility, social, cultural, and personal development.

Double occupancy bedroom $3,654 per semester.
Single occupancy bedroom $4,156 per semester.

Penn State Abington provides free transportation to and from campus during the Fall and Spring semesters. Transportation schedules are posted outside of the elevators on each floor of the building, and can also be found on the Transportation website using the link listed below.
First-year students, residing at Lions Gate, are not permitted to bring cars to campus. This parking policy is not only enforced by the University but is also monitored by the local police department and reported back to the University when students park within the surrounding community.
A limited number of parking permits are available to returning students. Any returning student wishing to secure a parking permit should complete the process as outlined on the Transportation website.

Abington is a thriving town with shops, restaurants, gyms, recreational spaces, and plenty of activities. Convenience stores such as Wawa, fast-food such as Chipotle, and full-service restaurants are easily accessible. Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods are within walking distance, and the Giant Supermarket is one mile away.
