Abington has many active learning spaces to invigorate deeper and more complex learning across campus. Breaking from the traditional mold of standard lectures at the front of the room, our active learning spaces allow for more social interaction, movement, and collaboration for both the instructor and students.
Active Learning Spaces include:
- Multicolored, movable furniture easily arranged to fit any learning situation
- Multiple mounted displays able to host simultaneous inputs from various sources, allowing both instructor and students to share content to the whole room
- Wireless smart board technology that allows for cordless visual sharing and live annotation of shared content
Note: all of the classrooms in the academic building are active learning spaces.
If you have any questions, want training, or are experiencing trouble in these rooms please contact our team by calling x7675 option 1, stopping by during normal business hours, or submitting a ticket.
