This workshop will prepare today’s teenagers for the financial twists and turns of growing up in the 21st century. The program will focus on the mathematics that adults are faced with on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Campers will be introduced to career planning, personal budgeting, basic banking, how credit works, school loans and how to apply for FAFSA, auto loans, mortgages vs. apartments, and "adulting." Throughout the month, campers will have the opportunity to apply these skills through a variety of different platforms, including computer-based projects, use of Microsoft Excel, and “real world” application projects.
