Explore a new, inventive way of creating art. We will take a look at book assemblage art, which involves using 2-D and 3-D art on pages of a book, allowing you to create your very own, unique book using upcycled materals! We will be utilizing a variety of materials such as fabric, wallpaper, yarn, paint, feathers, and found objects. This camp is perfect for those who want to foster their imagination and art skills in a new way. Come join in the fun and create a new chapter in your life as an artist!

Cristin Harrington
Cristin has been a camp instructor for many years now. This will be her 10th year at Penn State Abington! Originally from Flourtown, Cristin studied Art Education at the Tyler School of Art and is in her 17th year teaching art in the Philadelphia School District. Her hobbies include coaching and playing soccer, basketball, history and art.
