Transform old materials into fresh ideas in this engaging, hands-on camp for creative teens. Campers will learn how to give new life to everyday objects by turning unwanted items into unique art, décor, fashion accessories, and functional projects. Throughout the week, participants will explore sustainable design concepts while experimenting with a variety of materials and techniques. They will develop creative problem-solving skills, learn how to think like designers, and discover innovative ways to reduce waste through reuse and repurposing. This camp encourages imagination, innovation, and environmental awareness while providing opportunities for self-expression. By the end of the program, campers will leave with a collection of original projects and a new perspective on how creativity can contribute to a more sustainable future. Campers will be using the Brother Innov-ís NQ3550W Sewing and Embroidery Machine with Wireless capability for this camp. Campers will be using local transportation to go to a local thrift store.
