A leading information technology media site honored Penn State Abington alumnus Andrew Santacroce, mathematics 1988, for his exceptional management of IT strategies and innovative approaches to business challenges.

Computerworld's criteria for naming Santacroce to the Premier 100 Technology Leaders included recruiting and mentoring IT professionals, creating nimble IT organizations that respond quickly to business needs and the influx of technologies, and adapting to the evolving security landscape.

As vice president of global information technology at BDP International, Santacroce leads application development for all operational systems and customer-facing products for the company’s global logistics business. He previously led leadership teams and held key tech roles at Verizon, Cable & Wireless, The PMA Group and PECO, among others.

Voters elected him to two terms on the Horsham Township Council, and he served as a state Senate confirmed gubernatorial appointee to a state licensing board.
