Digital resource expert to appear at Abington

Richard Shrake from the American Philosophical Society (APS) will discuss “Digital Resources Management in Research Libraries: Applying Traditional Ideas to Evolving Technology” at Penn State Abington next week.

Shrake, associate librarian for technology and information technology officer at APS, will lecture at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, in Lares Building.

The APS, which is located in Center City Philadelphia, was founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1743. It promotes useful knowledge in the sciences and humanities through excellence in scholarly research, professional meetings, publications, library resources and community outreach.
