The U.S. Air Force Drill Team will be the featured event during Penn State Abington's annual John Pershing Memorial Drill Competition at noon on Saturday, March 24, in the Athletic Building.
The U.S. Air Force Drill Team features a professionally choreographed sequence of show-stopping weapon maneuvers, precise tosses, complex weapon exchanges, and a walk through the gauntlet of spinning weapons. Attendees will witness a sequence of maneuvers unmatched by any other professional military drill team.
Penn State Abington’s annual John Pershing Memorial Drill Competition is a daylong military precision competition. Junior ROTC groups from several high schools in the tri-state area will be participating in various competitions throughout the day. The overall competition runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
