Abington and World Affairs Council of Philadelphia sponsor webinar

ABINGTON, Pa. — Join the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and Penn State Abington for a free webinar at 5 p.m. on Jan. 26, featuring Charlotte Alter, senior politics and social issues correspondent at Time. She will discuss her book, "The Ones We've Been Waiting For: How a New Generation of Leaders Will Transform America."

Alter has covered the 2016 and 2018 political campaigns, resistance movements, the rise in youth activism around gun violence and climate change, the spread of conspiracy theories and disinformation, the 2020 Democratic primary, and the general election.

Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and Vox.
