Course One: Basics of Supply Chain Management

Covers the basic concepts in managing the complete flow of materials in a supply chain from suppliers to customers. Supply chain concepts are introduced and standard terminology emphasized, as are relationships among activities in the supply chain.

Community Interpreter Program
The workshop will use experiential learning, which means you’ll get plenty of chances to practice interpretation strategies and techniques in different situations. At the end of the course, you’ll have a solid understanding of the basics of the interpretation profession, a toolkit of techniques, and a great foundation to interact with interpreters professionally or to train for your career as a professional language interpreter.
This 15-hour course costs only $300. A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to bilingual individuals, a Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all others.

Lean Practitioners Certificate
October 6, 7, and 8, and November 10 and 11, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Participants will learn the full breadth of Lean approaches and how to implement Lean improvements using Lean/kaizen events under the DMAIC structure. Upon successful completion of this program, you will have the skills and knowledge to successfully apply Lean tools and techniques in your organization.

Penn State is an Accredited Provider by the State Board of Accountancy of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
We are also a certified Provider for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education. Earn your CPE/CLE credits locally on weekdays or Saturdays. Programs are ongoing.
