He is also an Adjunct Instructor of Performing Arts at Penn State University – Abington campus and an Adjunct Artist in Residence at Temple University specializing in Commercial Music Voice. He holds a B.M. in Musical Theatre from the University of Miami and an M.Perf.A. in Drama from Oklahoma City University and is grateful to have studied voice, acting, and conducting, respectively, with Drew Minter, Janet B. Some of his most recent past students attend NYU Tisch School of the Arts, University of the Arts, University of Northern Colorado, and Wichita State University in Musical Theatre/Opera/Theatre, respectively. Over the years, others have graduated from such fine institutions as Berklee College of Music and Peabody Conservatory or are currently working actors in the Los Angeles and NY/Philadelphia/DC markets.

For many years, Corbin has also served as a consultant and clinician for several Philadelphia organizations including Philly ASAP, CBS Radio, and the Walnut Street Theatre.

His national conference presentation work includes a workshop entitled “Theatre for Social Change Through the Eyes of Bertolt Brecht” for the Educational Theatre Association, as well as “Teaching Acting to the Young Singer in the Voice Studio” with fellow PSU voice teacher Dr. Kim Robson at the National Association of Teachers of Singing national conference and “Dead Voice- A Roadmap to Developing Opinion in the Voice” for The Voice Foundation’s recent national conference in Philadelphia.

As a performer, his resume includes roles with The Walnut Street Theatre, the Arden Theatre, CVS, NBC Universal, and soloist work with the Philadelphia Bach Festival, Voces Novae et Antiquae, and Ancient Voices, to name a few.
