Cathy Beech

Beech is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and has the HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) certification.

Cathy Beech

Cathy is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she is responsible for the Infor mation Security Program, which includes risk and compliance, threat and vulnerability management, security administration, and awareness and training.

Cathy is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) and has the HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) certification.

Ms. Beech joined CHOP in 2006 and in 2009, just three years after coming to the Hospital, was appointed to the CISO role.

She has more than 20 years experience in retail, financial, insurance, healthcare, and academic industries and currently serves on various CISO and executive advisory/governing body forums on privacy and security. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University.

James Carty

Carty is currently the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Philadelphia Division of the FBI.

James Carty

James Carty is currently the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Philadelphia Division of the FBI, where he is responsible for the security program covering all functional areas of security, physical, personnel, and information. 

Jim also has the Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification.  He is a veteran of 35 years in the law enforcement community, and has additionally been an Adjunct Professor of Computer Information Systems (CIS) for 18 years at Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) where he has taught classes in computer networking, digital forensics, and computer and network security.

Jim has both a Bachelor of Arts (BA), and Masters of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems Management from Holy Family University.

 

Nancy Horvath

Horvath is currently the Deputy Chief Information Officer of Bucks County.

Nancy Horvath

Nancy is currently the Deputy Chief Information Officer of Bucks County, where she is responsible for the strategic, administrative, fiscal, organizational, and operational aspects of information technology.

With over 25 years of experience in auditing, compliance, process-re-engineering, enterprise risk management, and information technology, Nancy brings a comprehensive best-practice approach to managing all aspects of information technology while addressing business needs and risks.

Nancy was most recently at Independence Blue Cross, where she was instrumental in the creation of the Compliance Audit function as well as the Enterprise Risk Management function. She has also held former audit and consulting positions with PNC Bank and Ernst & Young.

 

Andy Santacroce

Santacroce has spoken at several CIO and Executive conferences on the topics of Mobility, Application Development, Security and Infrastructure.

Andy Santacroce

Andy is Vice President in the Technology Division of BDP International, where he leads application development for all operational systems and customer-facing products for BDP's global logistics business. Since joining the company in 2013, he has been responsible for launching its first mobile-enabled application, the introduction of market segment focused application experiences, and strategic oversight of application technology and digital products.

Andy has spoken at several CIO and Executive conferences in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh on the topics of Mobility, Application Development, Security and Infrastructure. He also sits on the Evanta Philadelphia CISO Governing Body.  In November 2015, Andy was named a recipient of Computerworld Magazine’s “Premier 100 Technology Leader”award.

Prior to BDP, he led technology teams at Verizon for 11 years, and has also held key technology leadership roles at Cable & Wireless, SmithKline Beecham, The PMA Group, PECO Energy and Prudential Insurance Company.
