Next Gen Gamers is a creative, hands-on camp where kids explore how games have evolved—from classic arcades and board games to today’s digital worlds. Campers will learn about the history of gaming while discovering how different styles, genres, and cultures shape the way games are made. Students will experiment with designing their own games in a variety of styles, including retro arcade, tabletop, storytelling-based games, and simple digital formats. Our goal is to help young creators understand how creativity, design, and problem-solving come together to build engaging games. Through hands-on projects, team challenges, and play-testing sessions, campers will gain insight into how games are imagined, designed, and brought to life.
