Penn State Abington hosted students from Germany's Hof University of Applied Sciences and the two groups of students collaborated on a robotics project and a business competition. The yearslong Abington/Hof relationship provides American and German students with experience working on diverse teams across cultures, under faculty guidance. Abington students have visited Hof's Bavarian campus multiple times and explored educational and career opportunities in Germany.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office hosted a golf outing on Sept. 26 that raised more than $60,000 to endow a new scholarship at Penn State Abington.
