Barbara and Sam Evans, class of 1971, were both in their first semester at Penn State Abington, then known as the Ogontz campus, when they met by chance outside of the Sutherland Building. Recently, a bench outside of the building was dedicated to the pair.

The Germer-Taub Business Leadership Fund provides qualified Penn State Abington juniors and seniors with up to $10,000 in scholarships and an additional $2,500 for their internships.
The three-acre Pollinator and Bird Garden at The Arboretum at Penn State, on the University Park campus, is one of numerous garden spaces at The Arboretum at Penn State, one of seven founding campuses in the Commonwealth Arboreta Network. The goal of the network is to create an arboretum at each of the 24 Commonwealth campuses
