Alex Podolski, a guard on the Penn State Abington men's basketball team, became the fourth player in the team's history to score 1,000 points on Jan. 27. He scored a total of 23 points during the home game along with 13 rebounds that tied his career and season-high marks. Podolski is a business major from Sparta, N.J.
