Campers in the weeklong book assemblage art course explored 2-D and 3-D art on pages of books and learned new techniques using fabric, wallpaper, yarn, paint, feathers and found objects.
The Youth Police Academy included a discussion with Abington Township Police Sgt. Jennifer Doyle and her dog, Bella. Doyle and Bella showed off their skills for the campers.
Abington campers in multimedia design learned coding and graphics manipulation, developed webpages, and learned to maintain and manage these sites post-camp. They also created and edited short films.
Rocking with Rocketry campers at Penn State Abington explored the concepts of flight through hands-on experiments. They built and launched their own rockets.
