Students in a sculpture class for first-year art major created a six-foot long replica of the cruise ship Poseidon from the 1970s film "The Poseidon Adventure" using cardboard, hot glue, and duct tape.

Penn State Abington baseball player Austin Mikula noticed an older woman struggling to make her way to the baseball field last week. He dropped his gear, helped her to her seat, and then headed into the dugout. A parent referred to Austin as a class act.  According to Deb Solfaro, Director of Athletics, Intramurals, and Recreation at Abington, “Austin works hard. He is strong willed, and he has grown tremendously ... this year. We are proud of him.”
