Glenn Sterner, assistant professor of criminal justice at Penn State Abington, started "Share Your Opioid Story" as a way to reduce stigma surrounding opioid abuse. Sterner's work is featured in WPSU Penn State's new project called "Overcoming an Epidemic: Opioids in Pennsylvania."

The Send Silence Packing exhibit appeared throughout Penn State Abington this week, allowing the campus community to read letters written by the loved ones of suicide victims attached to backpacks to represent those lost to suicide. The goal of this traveling exhibit is to end the silence that surrounds mental health issues and suicide.
