A lecture named in honor of early abolitionist Benjamin Lay will be one of the featured events at the April 22 event, Reckoning with Slavery Along Old York Road.
The intramural field at Penn State Abington was transformed into a canvas of colors on March 27 as students celebrated Holi, the Hindu festival commemorating the arrival of spring. White T-shirts were distributed and then colorful powders were thrown in the air to symbolize the bonds of unity, the exultation of joy, and the spirit of celebration. The event featured food and music and was sponsored by the campus South Asian Student Association.
Penn State Abington offers students several assessments at no charge and provides their expertise in interpreting and applying the findings in students’ academic, professional and personal settings.
