Choosing a college is a complicated decision. Take a few minutes to learn more about why Penn State Abington could be the right fit for you.
The benefits of a large university in a small college setting
Penn State Abington is a diverse, close-knit campus community. Our students can enroll in one of 23 degree programs or begin any of Penn State’s 275+ majors at Abington before transitioning to another Penn State campus.
Your classes at Abington will be small, you will get individualized attention, and interact with faculty who are accomplished in their fields and who take a genuine interest in your future. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, participate in discussions and projects, and enjoy a more personal college experience.
Students at Abington have the same access to Penn State’s global resources as those at University Park and other campuses.
Scholarships and financial aid
Penn State Abington supports many students through a combination of scholarships and financial aid. A variety of scholarships are available for incoming first-year students, continuing students, and those transferring from another institution.
The Financial Aid team are experts at working with a student’s individual circumstances to try to develop an aid package that will support their unique educational goals. You are not alone in seeking aid: 38 percent of our students are eligible for federal Pell Grants and 76 percent receive financial aid.
