Penn State Abington honored one of its most generous supporters and a former student government president, Nicholas J. Maiale, by dedicating the Nick Maiale Student Government and Leadership Room in the Lares Building on campus.
Online and offline gambling has continued increasing rapidly in Pennsylvania since its legalization in 2017, according to the latest Pennsylvania Interactive Gaming Assessment: Online Gambling Report 2023. The report was developed by Penn State’s Criminal Justice Research Center under contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs.

Penn State Sustainability has announced the 2024 recipients of its sustainability awards. These accolades, including the John Roe Sustainability Impact Award, the Student Sustainability Advisory Council Tree Award, and the Pennsylvania Environmental Resource Consortium Campus Sustainability Champion Award, commend the extraordinary contributions of students in spearheading sustainability initiatives.
Penn State Abington's Charles Langley competed on the 4x400-meter relay team, which set a new Abington record finishing in 3:52.69 at the Ursinus College Track and Field Festival.
