President-elect Neeli Bendapudi visited with Wilkes-Barre campus on April 8 as part of her listening and learning tour to meet and engage in conversation with students, faculty, staff and community members at each Penn State campus. Bendapudi met with campus leadership, faculty, staff and students and toured Penn State Wilkes-Barre led by student Lion Ambassadors.

Face masks are now required to be worn indoors on eight Penn State campuses, in accordance with public health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that advises that masks be worn in counties with high COVID-19 Community Levels.
Penn State Abington's Ryan McCarty was named a semifinalist in the national competition for the top amateur baseball player of the year. He is the only non-NCAA Division I player and only Penn State player to be considered, and he could become the first winner from a non-Division I program since Bryce Harper of the Philadelphia Phillies won the award in 2010.
