The South Asian Student Association at Penn State Abington celebrated the upcoming Hindu festival of Holi by spraying each other with colorful powders to celebrate love and spring. They shared traditional foods with their friends on the campus intramural fields to mark the holiday.
Penn State Abington students donned traditional hanbok clothing at a palace in Seoul, South Korea, over spring break. Their nine-day immersion was a required component of a science course and included cultural experiences and science exploration. Embedded courses such as this one, coordinated by Abington Global Programs, feature short-term faculty-led travel that increases engagement and serves as resume and career builders.
