Admission to Penn State programs and campus locations depends on the academic program you choose, the space availability, and the quality of your high school academic records.  First-year decisions are based on

     Final grades in academic subjects in ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades
     Standardized test scores (SAT or ACT) submitted electronically
     Class rank
     Advanced placement and honors courses
     Required high school courses
     Activities page
     Personal statement

Approximately two-thirds of the evaluation is based on your high school grades and one-third is based on a combination of your standardized test scores, advanced placement and honors courses, and class rank.
