Business Analysis plays a critical role in the success of a project. This is even more evident in an Agile environment, where the process supports reduced development time and reduced defects.
This one-day course will introduce participants to the framework and theories of Agile and Scrum Methodologies. Students will discover the benefits of transitioning from a waterfall or traditional environment, and learn how business analysts, product owners, and other key personnel can impact the development lifecycle. They will learn how to properly manage user stories from a theme level to an epic level to a user story level. Additional topics include product backlog, user personas, story slicing, non-functional requirements, and user interface design (mock-up screens). Students will also complete a series of hands-on exercises and simulations based on predetermined case studies.
