Penn State Abington is pleased to announce a cluster hiring initiative focused on teaching and research in the area of equity and diversity. For fall 2023, we are seeking to appoint at least three tenure-track faculty that will expand our curricular offerings, support our degree program in Race and Ethnic Studies, and strengthen the campus' efforts to promote inclusive and equity-minded teaching strategies. We are inviting applications from scholar-teachers in the following four research and teaching areas:
- American Studies, Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies, or Writing Studies
- Latina/o Studies or African-American Studies
- History, with specialization in modern (post-1800) Africa, the Middle East, or Latin America/the Caribbean
- South Asian Religious Studies
